Introduction

Dr. Bertalan Németh

Oral surgeon and implantologist, ITI Fellow

I completed my university studies at Semmelweis University and spent one
semester at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. In 2010, I graduated
with a summa cum laude distinction.

In 2015, I obtained my qualification as a dentoalveolar surgeon at the
Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry at Semmelweis
University. Following this, I worked in dental tourism in Budapest and
London, performing almost exclusively oral surgical procedures.

In 2018, I was awarded a scholarship from the largest international
organization dedicated to dental implantology (International Team for
Implantology –
www.iti.org), which is granted to only 20 fortunate individuals worldwide each year.

Thanks to this opportunity, I spent a year at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Faculty of Dentistry, Postdoctoral and Research Division, in Mexico City. In 2020, I was honored to become an ITI Fellow, a title held by only four other individuals in Hungary. That same year, I returned to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry to participate in the teaching of Oral Implantology. In 2022, I obtained a specialization in Oral Implantology, during which I conducted a clinical study on immediate implantation at the Department of Periodontology at Semmelweis University. The publication of this study is
currently in progress.

Currently, I serve as the co-director of the ITI Study Club Budapest, where we organize Study Club events several times a year, inviting renowned
Hungarian and international speakers. I regularly give lectures and conduct training sessions both in Hungary and abroad. In 2023, we held a highly
successful practical cadaver course at the Department of Anatomy, Histology, and Embryology at Semmelweis University. As a member of the
Young ITI Global Taskforce, I actively participated in organizing the Young
ITI Day at the 2024 ITI World Symposium in Singapore. I also served as one of the moderators for the Young ITI World Series.
I am fluent in English and Spanish and am currently learning German.

Dr. Vincze-Dóró Marianna

I graduated from Semmelweis University in 2015 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, summa cum laude. I completed my specialist training at the Department of Prosthodontics at Semmelweis University and at the Department of Biomaterials and Prosthodontics at the University of Debrecen. Following these programmes, I obtained my specialist qualifications in Conservative Dentistry and Prosthodontics in 2019 and 2023. In addition, I completed postgraduate training in Endodontics at Semmelweis University.

I have continuously expanded my knowledge by attending numerous dental courses abroad. However, the most influential training for me was Dr István Urbán’s internationally renowned programme in bone augmentation and implantology, The 9-day Regenerator Program, which I completed in 2023. The refined surgical techniques I acquired during this programme fundamentally changed my approach to bone surgery and have shaped the surgical methods I use in my practice.

Since 2015, I have been working in private dental practices in Budapest, providing care to both Hungarian and international patients. My main area of focus is complex dental rehabilitation.

A holistic approach is at the heart of my work. For me, “the patient’s best interest is the highest law.”
